In the two weeks since OfficeMax announced that its east side call center would close on July 30, the Naperville, Ill., corporation has been “very focused” on its employees, said spokesperson Jennifer Rook. Local manager Starla Brown and the Human Resources Department have been on hand for “lots of conversations.”
